About the platform

What is the difference between a quiz and a survey?

Quiz — synchronous real-time mode: all participants answer simultaneously, with a timer, scoring and live leaderboard.
Survey — asynchronous self-paced mode: no timer, for feedback collection. Both modes available on all plans.

What question types are supported?

Single choice, multiple choice, True/False, open text, and image-based questions. Each question can have its own time limit and point value.

Do participants need an account?

No. Participants join via link or QR code in their browser — no registration or downloads. Only the organizer needs an account.

How many participants can join simultaneously?

Free — up to 30 per quiz. Basic — up to 100. Corporate and Integration — unlimited. For surveys, no limit on any plan. Load-tested for thousands of concurrent connections (K6).

Learning & education

Is the platform suitable for school lessons?

Yes. Students join from their phones without registration. The interface is available in Ukrainian and English. The free plan supports up to 30 participants — enough for most classes.

Can I collect feedback from parents or students via surveys?

Yes. Surveys are asynchronous and accessible via link at any time. Anonymous responses available. Results auto-aggregated in the analytics dashboard.

Technical questions

What languages does the platform support?

Full localization in four languages: Ukrainian, English, German, and French. Language is auto-detected or changed manually. Question translation available within plan limits.

What happens if a participant loses their connection?

Sessions are stored on the server. The participant reloads and returns to where they left off automatically. A failure in one session does not affect other concurrent sessions.

Can I embed Quiz Arena in my platform?

Yes, on the Integration plan. Any quiz or survey embedded via HTML iframe in one line. JWT auth keeps participants in your product's context. White-label and Postmessage API supported.

Is there CRM or LMS integration?

Yes, the Integration plan includes webhooks. Real-time events in JSON: quiz start, answers, completion, survey results. Compatible with any CRM, LMS or custom analytics.

Data & privacy

Can I collect anonymous responses?

Yes, the anonymity option is available for surveys. Useful for honest team or client feedback. For live quizzes, anonymous mode is unavailable — the leaderboard requires identification.

Subscription & billing

How do I change or cancel my plan?

Self-service in Settings → Subscription. Plan changes are prorated and the new plan activates immediately. Cancellation returns the remaining balance.
